Milk's up Breastfeeding Tea by Hot Tea Mama is designed to naturally support mothers while nursing.

Beyond the functional benefits, breastfeeding tea offers a moment of respite and self-care for new mothers. The ritual of preparing and savoring a warm cup of tea provides a tranquil pause amid the demands of caring for a newborn. The aromatic herbs can have a soothing effect, helping mothers relax and reduce stress, which, in turn, positively influences milk production.

Staying adequately hydrated is crucial for breastfeeding mothers, and breastfeeding tea serves as a delightful way to meet this requirement. The intake of nourishing liquids helps replenish fluids lost during breastfeeding, promoting optimal hydration. Additionally, the infusion of vitamins and minerals from the herbs enriches the nutritional content of breast milk, benefiting both mother and baby.

Milk's up Breastfeeding Tea by Hot Tea Mama is an award winning caffeine-free blend of fennel, nettle, fenugreek seeds, lemon verbena and star anise. These are natural galactagogues which support your milk supply, but they also taste delicious.

To make the most of breastfeeding tea, consider incorporating it into your daily routine. Enjoy a cup in the morning as part of your wake-up ritual or savor it in the evening to unwind. The gentle, natural ingredients make breastfeeding tea suitable for regular consumption, providing ongoing support throughout your breastfeeding journey.

Each pack contains 15 whole leaf, plastic free, biodegradable tea pyramids. They can be used to make 30 cups of tea or more.

Vegan and gluten free.

FAQ's

Herbs used for lactation support have been used for centuries by mothers all over the world. Usually, the herbs are made into tea for nursing mothers. Lactation teas can be helpful if you find your milk supply is low. When taken properly and used in conjunction with increased feeding times, you may find that your milk supply is back where it’s needed for your baby. Ensuring you are correctly hydrated, rest as much as possible and are eating a healthy diet will also affect your milk supply.

We recommend having 3-4 cups a day in combination with other techniques, including expressing/feeding as much as possible, having skin to skin, getting as much sleep as possible, eating a nourishing diet.

Lactation Tea's should only be consumed once your baby arrives.
