I’ve had a lovely two week break, but tomorrow its back to reality. I cuddled Isobel for a lot longer tonight knowing I won’t be spending all day with her. We haven’t had this much time off together as a family since I was on maternity leave, so there maybe a few tears in the morning when I drop her off at nursery.
I have seen Isobel do so many first in last few weeks! She now has to run everywhere, walking is so last decade! She can blow kisses, which my sister taught her. She imitates myself and my husband kissing whenever she hears us doing it, by giving a big mwoah! And she is tough as nails, we’ve had a lot of falls over xmas and bangs to the head, and after a few mommy or daddy cuddles, she’s off again. We’ve also had the tantrums but I’l explain our approach to disclipine in a seperate post!
We’re back to the doctors this week for another cough check up with a gruelling blood test for Isobel, I’l keep you all updated on how its progressing.
Time for an early night and back to setting our alarm clock.
Enjoying beach walks
